FAQs
Do you have an operation video?
Yes, we’ve prepared an operation video for you. You can watch it here:
https://youtu.be/gB64vdVXOwY
How do I disable transportation mode?
When using the device for the first time, please try one of the following methods:
- Method 1: Charge the TD2 until the indicator light stops flashing.
- Method 2: Press and hold the button, then rotate the knob until the indicator light stops flashing.
- Method 3: Remove the battery, reinstall it, and then charge the device before use.
Why are there minor paint wear or scratches?
The TD2 housing is made entirely of metal. The metal itself is hard, while the surface coating is relatively softer. When metal parts come into contact, the coating may wear or scratch.
This is a normal phenomenon and does not affect functionality. We will continue improving surface treatments in future versions.
How do I activate red light mode?
When the device is powered off:
Quickly rotate the knob half a turn in one direction, then quickly rotate it half a turn in the opposite direction
This will activate constant red light mode.
Note: In this mode, only brightness adjustment and power off are supported.
Why doesn’t the tripod lock in place?
The tripod is intentionally designed with a movable sliding structure to distribute pressure evenly and improve durability.
A fixed locking mechanism could concentrate stress and reduce lifespan.
Why is the battery cap difficult to open or tighten?
Please follow this method:
- Open the tripod first
- Use one hand to press downward
- Use the other hand to rotate the battery cap
Apply the same method when tightening.
Why are the controls difficult to remember?
TD2 uses one button and one knob to achieve multiple functions, so some operations may feel complex.
Most multi-step actions are for less frequently used features. You can also cycle through modes if unsure.
We may add engraved instructions in future versions to improve usability.
Why does the lamp tip over when fully extended?
When the telescopic pole is fully extended to one side without magnetic support, the lamp may tip due to uneven weight distribution.
This is unavoidable given the lightweight design.
Using a magnetic surface (e.g., a vehicle) can prevent this.
Why does the magnet feel weak?
TD2 already uses a very strong magnet (stronger than TD1).
If it feels weak, it is usually because the surface is too thin (e.g., car panels or thin steel).
For best results, attach it to thicker steel surfaces.
Is it normal to see sparks when installing the battery?
Yes, a small spark may occur when the battery contacts the internal electrode.
This is normal and safe, due to the conductive body design.
⚠️ If sparks occur in other areas, please contact us immediately.
